For outdoor kitchens we recommend weather-resistant cabinetry such as compact laminate or marine-grade polymer, stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant hardware, and UV-stable benchtops such as porcelain or sealed natural stone.
Covered alfresco areas need good ventilation over the BBQ, and gas, plumbing and electrical connections must be completed by licensed trades. We’ll discuss this with you during your consultation.

Will an outdoor kitchen withstand the weather?
Yes, when it’s crafted from the right materials. Weather-resistant cabinetry, corrosion-resistant hardware and UV-stable benchtops are made for outdoor conditions, including coastal salt air.
Do I need a rangehood outside?
Open-air BBQs usually don’t, but covered alfresco areas often need ventilation. Your BBQ’s installation instructions and a licensed gasfitter will confirm the requirements.
